Ideal Protein gives you permission to Say “No”--eek-- "No Thank you" during the holidays and beyond!
The most wonderful time of the year is upon us and for those on the Ideal Protein diet it’s loaded with food-related decisions. If you’re thinking about starting the diet you’ve got to be both realistic and determined.
The reality is that any deviation from the Phase 1 protocol will deflate your fat burning prowess. You cannot cheat your body. It is amazing and mind-bendingly efficient. It burns what it needs, stores or eliminates what it doesn't and the scale reflects the outcome.
That being said the holidays may be a good time to start. Given this season is ripe with nostalgia and plump with excess; the diet gives you permission to say “No.” Sometimes that’s all that stands between you and the cheese log or the eggnog and oftentimes, that's all you need.
Just because there are Christmas cookies in the break room, a pizza party in a classroom or a festive dessert on the table—doesn't mean you have to dig in. Seriously. And when you've invested in your body and survived Week 1 (groan!) you will be hesitant to undo your progress.
Getting a jump start on your New Year’s resolution (and claiming your preferred coaching appointment with us) are just a couple reasons why Christmas and Ideal Protein go well together.
Ideal Health Center is offering two New Dieter Orientations this month—December 5 and December 12 at 7PM. If you’re interested in enrolling or just need questions answered, please give us a call.
We also have gift certificates available for those—who with great wisdom and much love wish to give the gift of health this Christmas!
Dionne is a certified Ideal Protein coach who lost 25 pounds following the protocol way back when. Since then she's learned to cook healthier meals (and actually eat them), get a daily dose of iron in the form barbells and kettle bells and is usually training to improve her time in an upcoming half marathon.
